Offering time-sensitive forensic interview and advocacy services, on behalf of law enforcement and the District Attorney’s office.
The USC Child Interviewing Lab has partnered with mobileCAC of Los Angeles, Inc. to bring you the Mobile Child Interviewing Lab (MCIL). The MCIL was founded to provide time-sensitive forensic interview and advocacy services, on behalf of law enforcement and the District Attorney’s office, in cases that cannot be easily accommodated by brick-and-mortar child advocacy centers. These services are free of charge. Our team of highly trained Masters-level Forensic Interview Specialists will come directly to you, using our state-of-the-art Mobile Interviewing Unit or with our portable interviewing units to provide easily accessible interviews that can be viewed in person, or streamed via an encrypted online platform for ease of viewing.

Our Services
Forensic Interviews
A highly trained, Masters level, Forensic Interview Specialist will conduct the interview, with a secondary Forensic Interview Specialist providing supervision.
Victim Advocacy
Our victim advocate will either be present on site to directly provide services to the family or will be in contact with the family shortly after the interview is completed to ensure their needs are met.
Support Us
To keep our services free of charge, we rely on grant funding and the support of our compassionate donors to help with our operating costs. Our forensic interviews enable children to tell the stories of what has happened to them and are an essential prosecutorial tool in the search for justice. Your contribution will help provide trauma-informed, evidence-based forensic interviews to our youngest and most vulnerable victims.
